Student-Athlete Academic Excellence Recognition Event a Success!

The week before we all enjoyed our much needed Thanksgiving break, student-athletes on campus were rewarded for our hard work throughout last year. On Tuesday, November 14, all 27 of our athletic programs were gathered in the Hart Center Arena at the Luth Athletic Complex as the HC community recognized the 300 student-athletes named to the Dean’s List for the Spring 2023 semester.

My own team, women’s tennis, had all returning players recognized – a tremendous achievement and the perfect way to cap off our Fall ’23 season. Be sure to follow us on our instagram page: @hcrosswtennis!

We had a great season as a team, but not just on the court. We helped with painting and food packaging at Pernet Family Health Service in Worcester as a way to give back to our community.

On the court, this tennis season was particularly successful for me, as I was named Crusader of the Week for my performance.

HC teams are a way for students to be more well-rounded people, through being active in the arenas of athletics, academics and service. I’m proud of all our student-athletes, and I’m proud to be one myself!
